Matthew Wilkin, MMS, PA-C — Cardiology

Matt has been a practicing Physician Assistant since 2010. After initially working as a PA in hospital medicine, he joined Dr. Tejpal and his cardiology team in 2012. 

"I have always believed that the best way to approach patient care not only includes a thorough explanation of their cardiac disease, but an acknowledgement that it is ultimately the patient who has final say in the decision making. Letting patients be an active part of the process and helping to give them expert advice leads to the best outcomes and helps a clinician foster better long term relationships."

Matt lives in Chicago with his wife and enjoys exploring the city and spending his free time playing softball, going on hikes, and trying the newest craft beer.
